There are four types of granite used in the manufacture of Schock sinks:
Cristalite is the most basic material in Schock’s range but it is still of the highest quality. It uses natural silver ions to stop 95% of bacterial growth, and it is resistant to stains and scratches.
Cristadur offers the same benefits as Cristalite in addition to being equipped with the Nanoclean Effect. This ensures that all bacteria runs off of the material.
Cristastone builds on the positive aspects of Cristalite, with additional durability. According to Schock it is a ‘a milestone in hardness’.
Cristalan is specially formulated to be seamlessly integrated into worktops.
